How We Create Our Content
Black Lamb Finance publishes guides on business funding to help small business owners understand their options before they apply. Here’s how we ensure that content is accurate and useful.
Who writes our content
Articles are written or reviewed by Terrell Scott, founder of Black Lamb Finance, who works directly with business owners on funding applications. Every article has a named author — we don’t publish anonymous financial guidance.
How we source information
Our content is based on direct experience in revenue-based financing and small business lending, current lender terms and requirements we work with, and publicly available data on business financing (SBA, Federal Reserve small business surveys, industry reports) where cited.
How we handle accuracy
Funding terms, factor rates, and qualification criteria change. We review and update our core guides at least every 6 months, and each article displays a last-updated date.
Our business model
Black Lamb Finance is a business loan broker. We may receive compensation from lending partners when we successfully match a business with funding. This does not affect the accuracy of our educational content or which lender we recommend for your specific situation.
Corrections
If you spot an error in any article, contact us at terrell@blacklambfinance.com and we’ll review and correct it promptly.
